BearVault utilizes a unique polycarbonate resin known for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and high impact resistance. This innovation results in a lighter and stronger bear canister for adventurers like you, who are carrying weight over long distances. You care not only about your next meal but also about protecting bears and preserving their wild nature.

Most municipal recycling centers do not accept Number 7 plastics, making it difficult to find a suitable center. We, however, have a recycling agreement with our manufacturing partners to help prevent old canisters from ending up in landfills.

BearVault canisters can be returned to BearVault for recycling.

Before sending us your canister for recycling, please wash it (a dishwasher is fine) and remove any stickers.
