BearVault's Limited Lifetime Warranty
BearVault is proud to offer a limited lifetime warranty on its products, manufactured in 2017 or after. Below are the details of our warranty. We will, at our discretion, repair or replace BearVault products covered by our warranty at no cost to the owner.
While BearVault products are designed to be bear and critter-resistant, they are not infinitely bear-proof. To better understand how our products withstand wildlife interactions, we will replace any BearVault product that has been compromised by wildlife damage at no cost to the owner.
We will also cover manufacturer’s defects in workmanship or materials, provided a claim is filed within six months of purchase.
This warranty is subject to the following definitions, conditions and limitations:
- This warranty is conditional on the user's compliance with our product guidelines for care and use at all times.
- Products are not warranted against regular wear and tear, material aging, accidental or deliberate damage, or negligence.
- Chemical damage is NOT covered. Exposure to DEET and other harsh chemicals will cause the material to spontaneously crack, and irrevocably voids your warranty regardless of any other claims.
- Products are not warrantied against damage caused by ultraviolet exposure, dirt, excessively warm or cold temperatures, or hazardous conditions.
- This warranty applies to original, authentic, unaltered BearVault products that were purchased from an authorized BearVault dealer in the USA or Canada, in new condition.
- Definitions
- “Lifetime” means the lifetime of the product under normal use conditions. In most cases, this is about ten years.
- “Defect” means an inherent problem that has a substantive effect on the use and operation of the product.
- “Wildlife” means wild animals, in their wild and natural habitat.
- “Compromised” means broken or substantially weakened.
If you have a concern that is not covered by our standard warranty, please contact us with the details, and we may extend coverage at our discretion.
