Digital Marketing Specialist
We’re looking for a talented digital marketing professional who has the right combination of design, technical, analysis and communication skills to really drive our brand to the top. The right candidate is a detail-oriented, creative, and self-driven individual who is also an adventurer who has a true appreciation for bears, our natural world, and the concept of wilderness. This is a full time marketing position, located in Louisville, Colorado.
Technical Marketing Skills
This is a technical, digital specialist role to enhance our marketing and sales efforts. The scope includes developing digital content and media for our website, social media, online presence, brand and product listings, and sales support. You are well-versed in keyword management and optimizing SEO, managing cost-efficient campaigns, digital graphic design, including working with photos and videos; marketing communications and writing clean content for the web. You may find yourself working on visual media for marketing collateral, social media, or advertising; organizing digital catalogs; perfecting product descriptions; altering html and css on the back-end of our website; using website and campaign analytics tools, updating databases, etc. etc. etc. You are adept and fluid in the ever-changing technology landscape.
Soft Skills
You will be working with other people on our team, contractors, customers, partners and affiliates. You are professional in your interactions with others, and can contribute to a light-hearted, kind, and respectful workplace environment. You understand brand beyond its tangible traits. You are creative, entrepreneurial, and adaptable. You can take a project with a broad scope and work independently to refine and complete it.  You are curious, a natural learner, and you know how to research efficiently online and learn from the tools available.

We are hiring college interns for the summer! These positions are flexible and seek to make use of your best talents and expertise to enhance our company’s operations, marketing, administration, computer systems technology, and innovation. Assignments will be varied and will depend on your own talent and interests, as well as our company’s priorities.

Primarily we want to know what your suite of skills and expertise encompasses, but for your reference, here’s a quick list of just a few of the areas that could be helpful (and we don’t expect any one person to check all these boxes – rather, we want to know about your own strengths).

  • Research and Analysis – you know how to do research thoroughly and efficiently, and when to move beyond google. You can analyze data, compile, and present results both in both written and visual formats
  • Communication skills – professionalism in email, phone, and in person. Writing skills suited for different purposes, from website content to letters to reports to procedure manuals
  • Personable and Professional – able to work collaboratively with other people on our team, to communicate professionally with customers and partners, to represent our company at workshops and industry events
  • Independent and Mature – you are able to set, work through, and complete goals with minimal supervision
  • Passionate about your work, the outdoors, nature
  • Graphic Design, videography, artistic skills
  • Tech skills – Excel, WordPress, Zoho, Sellercentral, programming, app integration, etc.
  • Attention to detail; diligent;  organized
  • Business expertise – marketing in any and all aspects, accounting, process flow, CSR, HR, business law, etc.
  • Product design, manufacturing, sourcing expertise

We anticipate 2-3 openings. All interns are paid $15/hour. All positions are in Louisville, Colorado, although remote work is a possibility. Weeks and commitment are flexible (minimum 4 weeks).
