Shipping

When we ship

May-August: Shipments go out Monday through Friday, if received by 2 pm Mountain time that day. Orders placed late on Friday will ship on Monday. 

September-April: Shipments go out Monday through Thursday, if received by 2 pm Mountain time that day. Orders placed late on Thursday, or anytime on Friday, will ship on Monday.

Exclusions: Public Holidays. 

Estimated Shipping Time

Shipping times vary based on season, destination, delays caused by unusual weather or circumstances, and carrier. We may give you different options at checkout, and may indicate estimated shipping times. All shipping times are estimates provided by carriers: they are not guaranteed by the carrier nor by BearVault

Standard estimated shipping times do not apply to:

  • Products shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, and international orders
  • Rural, remote, some mountain towns, or APO addresses
  • Items that need to be sent by freight

Shipping Carriers

We typically ship with FedEx, UPS, USPS, Canada Post, and occasionally other carriers.

Where we Ship

We ship to street addresses throughout the US from Louisville, Colorado. If shipping to a hotel, please email/call to make arrangements. We ship signature required to hotels, and this additional cost is billed to the customer. 

International Shipments

We do not ship to other countries, except by special arrangement. Overseas shipping costs are very, very high. Because of this, we advise international visitors to plan to purchase their BearVaults at a US store upon arrival, or to purchase it online and arrange delivery to a US address where you are able to pick it up.

International shipments may be subject to customs, tariffs, duties, additional carrier fees, and taxes as well as processing delays at the border. If an international shipment is refused or returned, shipping charges as well as all of the above listed charges will be the responsibility of the customer.

Shipping Cost

BearVaults are bulky items, and tend to be costly to ship. We try to pass on the lowest rates available to us, and at times we may offer free or discounted shipping in some regions.

Restricted or Oversized Items

Due to the hazardous nature of some products, such as bear spray and products containing lithium ion batteries, shipments may be limited to ground delivery within the contiguous United States. Some products are also limited for international sales by contracts. Oversized items may have limited shipment methods available. 

Fulfillment Terms

All merchandise purchased through our website is considered F.O.B. (“Freight on Board”) from our warehouse. Title to the merchandise passes to you at the time of delivery by our warehouse to a common carrier.

Order Verification

All orders may be subject to order verification. We do our best to ensure that orders are correct and intended by the purchaser. Orders that cannot be adequately verified with our tools and/or attempts to reach a customer may be canceled or delayed substantially.

Cancellations and Returns

  • Orders may be canceled and fully refunded prior to shipment. If you need to cancel an order, email or call as quickly as possible. We sometimes ship multiple times a day so there is no guarantee that a cancellation will come in prior to shipment, even on the same day.
  • Once shipped, items will need to be delivered and then a customer can begin our return process. 
  • If a customer refuses a shipment, the customer will be responsible for all outbound shipping and return charges, in addition to an $8 processing fee.

Return Timing

We accept returns within a 45-day period after the date your BearVault was purchased at our store. 

What can be Returned

For a full product refund, the item must be returned in new condition with all packaging and contents in a new, resalable condition, and with no signs of damage, wear or use of the item. Items that are not in new condition may be issued a partial refund, or no refund, at our discretion. 

Original shipping charges are not refundable. 

Return shipping charges will be deducted from the total refund amount. We do not accept items COD. Occasionally BearVault may cover return shipping charges, at our discretion.

Livraison

Lorsque nous expédions

Les délais de livraison estimés standard ne s’appliquent pas à:

  • Produits expédiés vers des destinations en dehors des grands centres métropolitains.
  • Boîtes postales 
  • Les articles qui doivent être envoyés par voie terrestre ou par fret.

Transporteurs maritimes

Nous expédions généralement avecFedEx, UPS, CanadaPost, DHL et parfois d’autres transporteurs.

Où nous expédions

Nous expédions aux adresses municipales partout au Canada à partir de Hamilton, en Ontario. Si vous expédiez à un hôtel, veuillez appeler pour prendre des dispositions. Nous expédionsles articles nécessitant une signature aux hôtels, et ce surcoût est facturé au client.

Frais de port

Les objets BearVaults sont volumineux et ont tendance à être coûteux à expédier. Nous essayons de proposer les tarifs les plus bas disponibles et, parfois, nous pouvons proposer une livraison gratuite ou à prix réduit dans certaines régions.

Conditions d’exécution

Toutes les marchandises achetées sur notre site Web sont considérées F.A.B. (« fret à bord ») depuis notre entrepôt. La propriété de la marchandise vous est transférée au moment de la livraison par notre entrepôt à un transporteur public.

Vérification de la commande

Toutes les commandes peuvent faire l’objet d’une vérification de commande. Nous faisons de notre mieux pour nous assurer que les commandes sont correctes et destinées à l’acheteur. Les commandes qui ne peuvent pas être vérifiées de manière adéquate avec nos outils et/ou les tentatives pour joindre un client peuvent être annulées ou retardées considérablement.

Annulations et retours

  • Les commandes peuvent être annulées et entièrement remboursées avant l’expédition. Si vous devez annuler une commande, envoyez un courriel ou appelez le plus rapidement possible. Nous expédions parfois plusieurs fois par jour, il n’y a donc aucune garantie qu’une annulation interviendra avant l’expédition, même le même jour.
  • Une fois expédiés, les articles devront être livrés, puis un client pourra commencer notre processus de retour. 
  • Si un client refuse un envoi, le client sera responsable de tous les frais d’expédition et de retour, en plus des frais de traitement de 8 $.

Délai de retour

Nous acceptons les retours dans unepériode de 45 jours après la date d’achat de votre BearVault dans notre magasin. 

Ce qui peut être retourné

Pour un remboursement complet du produit, l’article doit être retourné à l’état neuf avec tous les emballages et contenus dans un état neuf et revendable, et sans aucun signe de dommage, d’usure ou d’utilisation de l’article. Les articles qui ne sont pas à l’état neuf peuvent faire l’objet d’un remboursement partiel ou d’aucun remboursement, à notre discrétion. 

Les frais d’expédition d’origine ne sont pas remboursables. 

Les frais d’expédition de retour seront déduits du montant total du remboursement. Nous n’acceptons pas les articles COD. Parfois, BearVault peut couvrir les frais d’expédition de retour, à notre discrétion.
