Worry Free Bear Canister Purchase Program for PCT Thru-hikers

BearVault is proud to offer a new purchase program for PCT thru hikers. This service provides a full size BV500 Sierra approved BearVault bear resistant food canister for pickup at Kennedy Meadows, Tuolumne Meadows or Echo Lake.

This service is only available for PCT hikers picking up their full size canister at one of the locations above; we will not ship to any other locations.

BearVault would require the hiker to give an estimated arrival date; we would send the BearVault to arrive seven days beforehand. IF YOUR ARRIVAL TIME BECOMES EARLIER BY MORE THAN 5 DAYS YOU MUST NOTIFY US OR THE CANISTER MAY NOT BE THERE WHEN YOU ARRIVE.
